I had a fantastic experience at Veg Vihar! The ambiance was lovely, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. They recommended the chestnut chili appetizer, which was absolutely delicious. I also enjoyed the South Indian thali with its variety of flavorful dishes that tasted like home-cooked food. The meal was completed perfectly with a cup of their filter coffee, a must-try for coffee lovers. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for delicious vegetarian food!

Extremely Disappointed – Avoid This Place! I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience truly warrants it. We recently ordered from Veg Vihaar, and the food quality was shockingly bad. The Dal Tadka was so salty it was completely inedible — it tasted like someone had accidentally poured an entire salt pack into the dish. To make things worse, the rotis were burnt. When I called to report the issue, I was met with complete indifference. They refused to offer any kind of refund or compensation, stating they have no policy for poor-quality food. That’s not just disappointing — it’s unacceptable. If you’re looking for good Indian food or even just basic customer service, look elsewhere. Bad food happens, but how a restaurant handles it is what sets it apart — and this place failed miserably on both counts.

This place had kind of became our every Saturday visit place. One thing we always have is soup of day which is mostly either tomato soup or lentil soup and both are amazing. First time we tried there north and South Indian both the cuisine and were not much please by North Indian. So we stick to South Indian food and it never disappoint . Ragi mudde with baigan, Maligu dosa was awesome and something different available here. They have raw jackfruit pulao , biryani and sabji. Tried pulao it was good .. overall a good place for vegetarian food.

Me and my husband decide to come to this restaurant for weekend breakfast. We were the first ones there and we were welcomed and we ordered the breakfast combos. The food arrived and it looked delicious , the dosa was amazingly crisp, the idlis were fresh and fluffy and the vadas were crunchy on outside and fluffy inside. Special mention to the amazingly yummy coconut chutney. Highly recommend this place 😊

If you are looking for Indian vegetarian food, then this place wouldn't disappoint, at least in the quality of the food. The Mulbagi Benne Dosa was fabulous. Brought back a lot of good memories. The V V Special Kara Dosa was great too. On the negative side, the Filter Coffee was an absolute disappointment. No flavor at all, and extremely watered down. Service lacks quality. There is a lack of attention in the staff which, in the long run, will hurt the restaurant if they do not fix it soon. Wait times can be lengthy on the weekends so prepare yourselves for that. If it weren't for some of these negatives, I would have given full 5 stars.
